P.E.T. Scan May 2017 (P.E.T. Number 9)

P.E.T. Scan Number 9 was different. The results were clear, the I.C.E. Chemotherapy had destroyed the Lymphoma but this could just be the fact the I.C.E Chemotherapy had frozen the production of Cancer Cells. My first question was “Could this mean not proceeding with the Stem Cell Transplant ?” I do ask a lot of questions. The answer was that they had never just stopped like that, there was little chance that the production of cancer cells had stopped and that a recurrence would happen. If I stopped now then the entire process would be lost and I would not be able to undergo I.C.E again for 12 months. But a recurrence would be fast and aggressive.
